The 67 Trend

Palms up. One hand up, the other down. Switch. Repeat. That's a 67.

What is the 67 trend?

The 67 trend is a short-form video challenge where you hold both palms up like you're weighing invisible objects, then alternate which hand goes up and which goes down as fast as you can. Each full switch is one "67". It exploded across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts because it's silly, physical, and easy to film in ten seconds.

How to do the 67 move

  • Hold both hands out in front of you, palms open and facing the sky.
  • Push one hand up while the other drops down — like a scale.
  • Swap: the up hand comes down, the down hand goes up.
  • Every complete swap counts as one 67. Go as fast as you can for 10 seconds.

Try it in your browser

67 Rush turns the trend into a real challenge. Your front camera watches your hands, counts every 67 in real time, and shows a shareable score card at the end. Nothing is uploaded — detection runs on your device.

Tips to score higher

  • Keep both hands inside the camera frame the whole time.
  • Exaggerate the vertical distance — small twitches don't count.
  • Stay loose in the wrists. The move is a flick, not a lift.
  • Good lighting on your palms helps hand detection stay locked on.
